Exchange session and charging profiles via OCPI (or your API)
Jedlix has been an early contributor to the Open ChargePoint Interface (OCPI) protocol for smart charging functionality. We supported the standardization of smart charging features in the OCPI protocol and the delegation towards a smart charging service provider (SCSP) like the Jedlix Platform. OCPI is the (open) protocol used for connections between charge station operators and service providers. This allows to exchange session data and charging profiles to monitor and control a charging session. Is your charger not available in an OCPI (type) backend? No worries, our Platform is flexible and could also support similar (bespoke) APIs if this works better for you.
Integration to complete the set-up
To enable our smart charging services in your own charger and app environment, exchanging session data and charging profiles are just the start. For a complete and comprehensive smart charging integration you would also need to exchange the following three items:

Leverage key car telemetry data for smart charging such as battery state of charge and target state of charge.
