Vacancy Strategic Account Manager

To support our international expansion and growth we are looking for a strategic account manager.

Jedlix is the leading smart charging service provider.

Jedlix is the leading smart charging service provider in Europe and with your help we plan to increase the number of B2B partners on our platform. Jedlix operates on the intersection of e-mobility and energy, and this is where our target customer can be foundutilities, energy, automotive and other players in the e-mobility domain. It will be your responsibility to prospect, develop and in the end close deals with our target clients in the energy industry. You know your way in the international energy and utility sector, and preferably know how software works. The role is based in Rotterdam and has a focus on further developing our presence in the European market.  


Responsibilities include:

  • Be responsible for the development and commercial success of Jedlix. Prospect, develop, and close contracts for new B2B partners with specific focus on utility and energy partnersGenerate proposals based on client criteria or respond to their tenders. 
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding of new clients by working closely with the Jedlix Product Development and Operations team. 
  • Account planning and management and evaluate market and strategic opportunities by performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses. 
  • Own strategic relationships that yield tangible and significant business impact. 


What you will need: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B account/sales management, preferably in a software/SaaS product environment.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and more importantly having the right business acumen.  
  • Knowledge and professional network in the energy industry. 
  • Have a competitive edge and thrive in a fast-paced team environment, ability to work autonomously and in a structured manner.  
  • Outgoing mindset, creative and ability to build a network.

Some practical details

  • You need to have a valid work permit for the Netherlands
  • No relocation is offered
  • The vacancy is for 40 hours a week, starting date is as soon as possible.
  • Our office is in Rotterdam next to the Central Station in the Groothandelsgebouw, one of Rotterdam’s biggest start-up hubs. You can find many other innovative companies here. Besides being a central location, it also offers nice perks like table tennis, pool table and football table.
  • As mentioned above, we are currently working remotely; we expect that once the Covid-19 situation improves significantly, we will start working in the office more.
  • We have people from various nationalities working with us, so your command of English needs to be good, if you also speak Dutch, French or German is a plus.
